Perks Of 90's.

Do you still remember the cassettes? Reel enrolling round its breadth with the two holes acting as wheels for the reel, for someday someone to roll in a pencil inside for the tape to work. And the Walkman, proudly playing in the cassettes, with the sole purpose of soothing people with its melody. When video games of Super Mario and his brother, Leo rescuing the princess from their super worlds was one of a craze. When the Powerpuff girls delineated girl power and Tom & Jerry cherished selfless strings of friendship.
When TV shows like Shaktiman depicted the power hidden in simplicity with such a beautiful and appreciable grace. When evenings witnessed conversations, giggles and meetups and not closed doors with respective personal cell phones and private conversations hand in hand.
When emotions weren't faked behind the screens and filters weren't needed to wash down the flaws, cause imperfections were welcomed and that 'perfectionism is unattainable' was accepted. When kids knew to run, hop, sway the swing and twirl the top. When neighbors were not unknown but respected and were like a branch of the family. When gatherings were the perks of festivals and not WhatsApp statuses, posts and texts. When phone directories, landlines, and fat telephone bills endorsed the romance of the 90's.
Developed technology and lost human touch, increased virtuality and vanished reality made us live in the twenties and relish the nineties.
