Unique Is Above Cliche.

When I look at a flight taking off or a train boarding from the station, I wonder if the two travellers will ever meet. Out from the screens and keyboards and typos if they will ever look right into the eyes and speak absolute nonsense and blabber jabber. I wonder. Perhaps, I fear.       They met virtually, they got to know each other virtually, always in personal chats, but never in person actually. Words meant the world to her. She worshipped and adored them. She was floating in a world, constructed of bits and pieces of broken relationships and for her to admire, he healed the crevices in her world with the warmth of just his words. Boom! There they got connected. Words made them connect.        They share a title today but against the norms of traditional relationships, they haven't yet decided their future. Does this make their bond any inferior? Well, I call it superior. What they know about them is their ‘toda...

Perks Of 90's.

Do you still remember the cassettes? Reel enrolling round its breadth with the two holes acting as wheels for the reel, for someday someone to roll in a pencil inside for the tape to work. And the Walkman, proudly playing in the cassettes, with the sole purpose of soothing people with its melody. When video games of Super Mario and his brother, Leo rescuing the princess from their super worlds was one of a craze. When the Powerpuff girls delineated girl power and Tom & Jerry cherished selfless strings of friendship. When TV shows like Shaktiman depicted the power hidden in simplicity with such a beautiful and appreciable grace. When evenings witnessed conversations, giggles and meetups and not closed doors with respective personal cell phones and private conversations hand in hand.                  When emotions weren't faked behind the screens and filters weren't needed to wash down the flaws, cause imperfections were welcomed and ...

Priorities.

Have you ever known of the term Priority? Have you ever got heard of it? Obviously, you would have if you are all your ears and not blind in misconceptions in your relationships and hence life. A busy life schedule, hectic working hours often raises terminologies like 'Priority.'                 But the truth has nothing to relate to it. You would eventually make time for the things you actually desire to do and for the relationships you actually want to bloom. Don't tell me that you reply to every Whatsapp text that you receive just at the second you see it on your notification bar. Neither you wait to reply to certain texts as soon as they are delivered on your phone. Here comes the locution 'Priority.' The names topping up your chat list, flooding with texts are your at most priorities while those unread chats lowering down day by day, losing recognition bit by bit and fading importance side by side reflect your least priorities. The casua...

Re-Ignite The Spark.

Any relationship no matter if it’s a long distance relationship, should be bloomed hand in hand, step by step. To be more precise, whatever your current relationship status is, you need to put in efforts for it to be a perfect relationship. People could never be moulded into perfectionism but relationships could be. Phones, social media, 24*7 access to the internet and busy life schedules have dampened the sparks of our relationships in some way or the other.                 For your relationship to bloom and sparkle like it did when it started, start giving it the kind of importance you used to give when it all started. When you weren’t sure of its longevity, when you feared loss and when you actually cared about the time investment. A relationship without the slight burn of fear isn’t a safe path to stroll. Because for the things that you don’t fear losing won’t be worth your attention or your efforts in your own eyes. Let that fear burn in...

Independence Is a Myth.

Why there are fights over a piece of land when everyday India shakes hand with Pakistan during the Grand Parade at Wagha? Why there are differences between the respect for the flag of each other's nation when the tricolour and the green salute each other every day they flutter elegantly on the border? Why there is hatred for the green hue and the black burqa when the green bangles and black kohl are the adornments of every Indian Woman? Ironically we were freed seventy years back but it still 'sounds all greek' cause for we; are still entrapped within the bars of religious differences and full freedom; still remaining to be attained.

A Photo Frame! A photo frame that does not exist. We never got photographed together, lucky enough for me to have nothing to clutch upon and weep for hours at night. But then I still have impressions of you, deep at the core of my heart, Pure, Untouched, Unscathed. Alas! I'm cursed enough I guess. A Broken Photo Frame that does not exist.
